About the maker

Hi, I'm Priyanka. Clay is where I play.

Outside of my day job as a physician, I make ceramics at a local pottery studio here in San Mateo. PD Clay Studio is where I play, create and experiment. It's my creative outlet and where I've found my own style.

I'm inspired by my travels, by nature and by the earth itself: the colors of moss and sea glass, the textures of sand, bark and stone. Most of what I make is meant to be used every day, for a morning coffee, a bowl of soup or a few stems from the garden.

Everything is made in small batches, so no two pieces are exactly alike. If something you love has sold, I'm always happy to make one for you.
